Although all three of these skanks gossip, Kate is definitely the unrivaled gossip champion. The look of unmitigated GLEE on her face as she breaks the news to Laurie that Valentin spent the night with Jaclyn…ohhh she’s evil.
Kate’s such a master of her craft — anyone who’s dealt with this kind of friend group knows to fear and respect someone of her skill level in the shit talking arts. Observe how she purposefully makes Laurie spiral with the Valentin bombshell and then absolves herself of all culpability: “I just thought you were gonna laugh about it!” Please, Lucifer. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING!
Note how Kate prefers to work in the shadows — her abject HORROR when it comes out that she was the one to break the news of Valentin’s sleepover demonstrates that she prefers to snipe from the side.
